MRII Announces Stephen Kraus As New Executive Director

SARASOTA, FL, April 19, 2021 – MRII is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Kraus as Executive Director of the Institute, effective April 19, 2021. “Stephen’s experience, credentials, strong thought leadership capabilities and strong connections to education and learning will help the MRII achieve our important mission.” said Dan Coates, past president and search-committee chair.

MRII is a non-profit educational institute devoted to fulfilling the essential educational needs of people worldwide in the marketing research profession. MRII provides a family of online courses in cooperation with the University of Georgia.

Stephen Kraus has been active in the research industry for over 25 years and holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard University. Via a deep science-based understanding of what makes people tick, Stephen works at the intersection of thought leadership, consumer insights, socio-demographic trends, and marketing strategy. With research experience that spans qualitative and quantitative, custom and syndicated, B2B and B2C, Stephen’s areas of expertise also include digital trends, audience measurement, affluence/luxury, generational marketing, and data-driven decision making. Stephen will continue to teach at the University of San Francisco as he explores this new opportunity.

Stephen takes over from Jeffrey Henning, who will continue as a board member of the MRII.
