San Francisco, CA, November 9, 2022 – MRII is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Keller as Executive Director of the Institute, effective November 14, 2022. “Ed’s strong thought leadership, experience, credentials, and connections to education and learning will help the MRII achieve our important mission,” said Dan Coates, past president and search committee chair.
MRII is a non-profit educational institute devoted to fulfilling the essential educational needs of people worldwide in the marketing research profession. MRII provides a family of online courses in cooperation with the University of Georgia.
Ed Keller is one of the foremost experts in consumer insights and word of mouth. As both an entrepreneur and a CEO of leading insights agencies and data/analytics platform companies, he has built and sold businesses, launched data and insights products, acquired and integrated businesses, managed global teams, served on Boards of leading growth companies (VC-backed through IPO) and associations, and worked with many of the world’s leading brands. He is an inductee into the Market Research Council Hall of Fame (2020) and the Word of Mouth Marketing Hall of Fame (2014).

Ed takes over from Stephen Kraus who has accepted a full-time professorship at the University of San Francisco.
