Welcome to Knowledge Navigator (“Service”), designed to provide information and answer questions about market research and insights. By accessing or using this Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you (“User”) and Market Research Institute International (MRII)  (“we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of the chatbot. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Service Description

Knowledge Navigator is an AI-powered tool designed to provide answers to questions about market research and insights. While it aims to deliver accurate and relevant information, it:

• Is for informational purposes only and does not provide professional advice.
• May not cover all possible scenarios, questions, or answers.
• May evolve over time as new features are added.

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

Initially, there is no charge for the use of Knowledge Navigator.  If applicable in the future, subscription fees for using the Service will be clearly communicated and Registered users will be given advance notice and asked or a credit card to continue their subscription. Users agree to pay all fees associated with their account.

• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: Users may cancel their subscription at any time. 

5. Permitted Uses and Restrictions

Users may only use the Service for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use Knowledge t for any fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful activities.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute the Service’s underlying technology or responses.
• Users may not reproduce or make any derivative works of the Knowledge Navigator or commercialize and/or make use of any outputs from Knowledge Navigator in the creation of new works.
• Submit content that is offensive, discriminatory, or violates the rights of others.

MRII reserves the right to monitor usage and suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software, and materials associated with the chatbot are the property of MRII or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable right to use the Service. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

7. User Content and Privacy

MRII is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users located in the European Economic Area (EEA).

Data Collection and Use:

• The chatbot may collect and process personal data (e.g., email addresses, interaction logs, or other identifying information) as necessary to provide the Service.
• Personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, only for specified, explicit purposes.

User Rights:

If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right to Access: You may request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You may request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

The Service is provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MRII does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the responses.

• MRII is not liable for decisions made based on the Knowledge Navigator’s outputs.
• MRII is not responsible for any damages arising from technical errors, service interruptions, or misuse of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MRII, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Modification of Terms

MRII reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination of Access

MRII reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at its discretion, including for violations of these Terms. Termination will not entitle Users to a refund unless explicitly stated.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Connecticut, USA. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Connecticut, USA.
